Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer in United States.

We are seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to shape exceptional digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. In this role, you will work closely with product owners, engineers, marketers, and researchers to create cohesive, accessible, and impactful designs that guide users through complex workflows. You will be responsible for both defining design direction and executing high-quality interaction and visual design. This position requires a hands-on, user-centered approach, combining creativity, technical skill, and empathy. Your work will directly influence product usability, customer satisfaction, and the overall digital brand experience. You will also mentor junior designers and contribute to evolving a shared design system for consistent and scalable user experiences.

Accountabilities

  • Lead UX/UI design initiatives across web and mobile platforms, ensuring cohesive, accessible, and engaging experiences.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to explore user needs, define problems, and prioritize design solutions.
  • Conduct and contribute to research activities, including user interviews, usability tests, and data analysis.
  • Develop testable prototypes, flows, and high-fidelity visuals to support product goals.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement by leveraging user feedback, analytics, and experimentation.
  • Contribute to the shared design system, extending components, patterns, and guidelines for consistent experiences.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Mentor peers or junior designers to foster a strong, collaborative design culture.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience designing digital products, preferably in edtech, LMS, or SaaS environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX/UI work on real-world features.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma preferred) and a solid foundation in usability, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.
  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Degree in HCI, UX, or a related field preferred; UX certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive impactful design solutions.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and a team player with strong empathy for users.

Benefits

  • Competitive health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement contributions.
  • Generous paid time off including vacation, sick leave, volunteer days, and personal days.
  • Wellness programs, including gym discounts and on-site fitness facilities (where applicable).
  • Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options and adaptable schedules.
  • Continuous learning opportunities, including courses, workshops, and mentorship programs.
  • Career growth and advancement opportunities through structured feedback, coaching, and volunteer initiatives.
  • Employee assistance program offering confidential counseling, legal support, and other resources.
