Job Description

The Room Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction at Fairfield Inn & Suites Hartford Airport. This position is responsible for inspecting guest rooms after they have been cleaned by housekeeping staff, ensuring they meet brand and safety standards, and providing feedback to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation.
• Ensure all rooms meet Marriott brand standards before being released for occupancy.
• Complete inspection checklists and report any deficiencies or maintenance issues.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping staff and management to resolve issues promptly.
• Assist in training and mentoring housekeeping staff on cleanliness standards and procedures.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and follow-up actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Support the housekeeping team during high-occupancy periods as needed.
