Psychiatric RN BSN job at 1st Choice, LLC Rockville, MD, US

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (BSN)with psychiatric experiencefor an 8-week contract assignment supporting the Residential Programin Rockville, MD. This role is vital in providing medical and psychiatric support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises in a short-term residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver routine health assessments, medication management, and support for psychiatric clients
Collaborate with clinical staff and case managers to monitor clients’ mental and physical well-being
Assist in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization efforts
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to all clinical protocols
Communicate with external healthcare providers as needed

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensein the state of Maryland
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum 1 year of experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a team-based environment
Criminal Background Check and Drug Testing Required

Details:

This is a contract positionfor a duration of 8 weeks
Hours:10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
