Comal is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The Prep Cook will be responsible for ensuring that all ingredients and mise en place are prepared to the highest standards to support smooth and efficient service.
Responsibilities:
Wash, chop, and prepare vegetables, proteins, and other ingredients.
Measure and portion ingredients according to recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations and storage areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist chefs and line cooks as needed during service.
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude.
