Job Description

We're looking for a professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and communicative to support multiple litigation attorneys in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will take initiative, manage competing priorities, and provide excellent support to both attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage high volume medical malpractice and products liability cases
• Electronically file documents in state and federal courts
• Maintain and organize client files
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including drafting jury instructions, deposition designations witness and exhibit lists, etc.
• Update and maintain attorney calendars re: hearings, depositions, mediations, and scheduling orders
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, including subpoenas and notices
• Arrange for service of process with sheriff's office and private process servers
• Assist with video conferences and remote depositions
• Track client expenses and submit them for reimbursement or billing
• Communicate with opposing counsel and court clerks, serve as liaison between attorneys, clients, and external contacts

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Familiarity with document management systems and case management software
• Committed to providing excellent legal support
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Minimum of five years of relevant paralegal experience preferred
