Internship Overview:

The Medical Logistics Intern will support the daily operations of our medical warehouse and logistics systems. This internship offers hands-on experience in inventory control, order fulfillment, and supply chain coordination in a fast-paced medical services environment. This is a valuable opportunity for students or early-career individuals interested in healthcare logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations. 

Key Learning Areas and Responsibilities:  

Inventory Support:  

• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming medical and office supplies. 
• Help maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems. 
• Participate in regular inventory audits and stock level tracking. 

Order Fulfillment:  

• Learn how to pick, pack, and prepare shipments of medical equipment and supplies. 
• Assist in packaging and labeling remote site packages, including IT and telecom items. 
• Help coordinate outgoing shipments and track deliveries. 

Warehouse Operations:  

• Gain experience operating basic warehouse tools and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. 
• Support safety procedures and learn regulatory best practices. 

Quality Assurance:  

• Assist with inspecting medical products for damage, expiration, and proper labeling. 
• Learn appropriate storage methods for medical materials. 

Logistics Coordination:  

• Shadow logistics staff to learn how shipments are scheduled, tracked, and delivered. 
• Communicate with teams and vendors to support daily operational needs. 

Emergency Response Exposure:  

• Observe emergency logistics processes and understand warehouse readiness procedures. 

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or currently enrolled in a relevant college or training program. 
• Interest in healthcare, logistics, or supply chain operations. 
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. 
• Good communication and teamwork skills. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse setting. 

Internship Details:  

• This is a part-time or full-time internship based in Anchorage. 
• Duration: flexible based on program or availability. 
• Compensation: Paid internship (hourly wage).

Must be a Doyon, Limited shareholder.
