Description We are looking for a dedicated Mailroom Assistant to join our team in Milford, New Hampshire. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling options, making it ideal for individuals who value work-life balance. As a Contract to permanent opportunity, this role provides a pathway to a long-term detail-oriented career in the mailroom and office services industry. Hours are Monday - Friday FLEXIBLE between 4pm to 12am (4 hrs shift) Responsibilities: + - Receive, categorize, and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments. + - Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. + - Maintain detailed records of mail and package deliveries, pickups, and other transactions. + - Coordinate with couriers and delivery services for timely package routing. + - Organize and maintain the mailroom space, keeping supplies well-stocked and accessible. + - Provide support to office teams with mail-related tasks and general assistance. + - Ensure compliance with company policies regarding mail handling and confidentiality. + - Monitor equipment such as printers or postage meters and report issues promptly. + - Assist with special projects related to mail processing and distribution as needed. Requirements - Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout shifts without difficulty. - Capable of lifting and transporting packages weighing up to 50 lbs. - Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. - Reliable and able to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision. - Previous experience in mailroom operations or a similar field is advantageous. - Familiarity with enterprise tools such as ERP systems, Kronos Timekeeping, and Microsoft Access. - Basic knowledge of mailing equipment including inkjet printers and postage machines. - Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
