Description Robert Half has partnered with a prestigious AM Law firm based in Century City in their search for a talented Contract-to-Hire Hybrid Legal Secretary to join their Commercial Litigation Practice Group. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a candidate with proven experience in e-filing in both state and federal courts, a sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Provide administrative support to a team of attorneys within the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. + Prepare, format, and process legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda. + Manage the e-filing process for state and federal court filings with accuracy and efficiency. + Maintain and organize attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, hearings, and deadlines. + Handle client communication and assist with billing tasks as needed. + Collaborate with other support staff and attorneys to ensure seamless operations. Requirements Qualifications: + Minimum of 3+ years of legal secretary experience, with a focus on commercial litigation preferred. + Strong familiarity and hands-on experience with e-filing procedures in both state and federal courts. + Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle competing deadlines. + Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with case management software is a plus. + Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment while following firm protocols. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with attorneys, staff, and clients.
