Our client, a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences, is looking for a "Lab Assistant” based out of Wilmington, MA.

Job Duration: Long term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension)

Pay Rate: $28/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Run Monthly Lab Organizations Meetings to address concerns and share information
  
• Waste Management
  
• Manage waste streams
  
• Schedule Triumvirate waste pick ups
  
• Manage Service Contracts
  
• Work with Procurement to renew contracts
  
• Manage new equipment and CapEx purchases
  
• Work with Procurement to ensure quotes have the best pricing possible
  
• Equipment Maintenance
  
• Perform Daily, Monthly, Yearly Maintenance
  
• PM Management
  
• Calibration Management
  
• Troubleshooting equipment
  
• Shipping and Receiving
  
• Coordination of Evaluation and Demo Units
  
• Coordination of Customer visit to Wilmington Lab 360
  
• Lab Coat management
  
• Learn KAPA NGS library prep workflows to assist in manual testing
  
• Chemical Inventory
  
• Manage existing and new chemicals coming into the Wilmington lab
  
• Ordering Management
  
• Placing and receiving orders for common supplies and consumables
  
• Inventory Management
  
• Ensuring sufficient stock of consumables are available in the lab
