Job Description

SystImmune is a leading and well-funded clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company located in Redmond, WA and Princeton, NJ. As part of our growth, we are seeking a dedicated IT Help desk Technician to join our IT team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting scientific innovation through exceptional IT support. You will work closely with experienced IT engineers who maintain a seamless technological infrastructure while gaining valuable hands-on experience in advanced IT projects.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues, ensuring smooth daily operations across the organization.  

  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and networking issues, including PCs, printers, mobile devices, and laboratory equipment.  

  • Provide IT support for remote employees, ensuring seamless technical operations across locations. 

  • Assist with system setups, configurations, and software installations. 

  • Configure and deploy workstations and lab equipment while adhering to security protocols.  

  • Work with IT/AV-related Software/Hardware 

  • Provision/decommission equipment and accounts when employees leave or join the company.  

  • Collaborate with senior IT engineers on infrastructure upgrades and server maintenance.  

  • Escalate issues to appropriate teams according to internal procedures and provide documentation of any actions taken. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:  

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 

  • Experience with service/help desk systems  

  • Hands-on experience supporting modern operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android) 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, Zoom, and strong capability to learn new software and systems. 

  • Familiarity with concepts of virtualized environments, cloud computing, and various network technologies including DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing.  

  • Familiarity with Cisco managed switches/routers, Palo Alto Firewalls, and basic cabling 

  • Ability to handle multiple requests/projects simultaneously and prioritize. 

  • Ability to demonstrate clear & confident communication skills both written and verbal. 

  • Ability to deal with problems and technical issues in a friendly, calm, and reassuring manner. 

  • Strong organizational skills 

  • Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds. 

  • Ability to handle multiple requests/projects simultaneously and prioritize. 


Compensation and Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills.

While most offers typically fall within the low to mid-point of the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise align strongly with the requirements of the role.
