Disclaimer: This position is expected to start September 2025 and continue through May 2026. We ask for a minimum of 6 months full-time, for most internships. Please consider before applying. International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. Again, please do not apply until you know you can work 40 hours per week. This is required for external applicants. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

We provide an experience that allows for the intern to experience life at Tesla by giving them projects that are critical to their team’s success.
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated student to intern on our Global Trade Team. Tesla’s Global Trade Team supports all Import / Export Operations globally and is responsible for Tesla's Trade Compliance policies, programs, applications, and tools, as well as due diligence in expanding our global footprint into New Markets. During the initial phase of the internship, the intern will rotate through the Global Trade Team’s functional areas, such as Operations, Legal, Strategy, Programs, etc., to better understand the scope of the Team’s work, with the second phase focused on a specific Global Trade functional area. A capstone deliverable, such as a presentation, project, or work process will be presented at the completion of the internship, culminating the experiences gained and lessons learned.

Expected Compensation
$21.00 - $30.00/hour + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
