We are seeking a dependable, discreet individual to serve as the front-line presence at a members-only poker house. This role is ideal for someone who can maintain order, enforce house rules, and ensure a respectful environment—without the need for formal security credentials.
This is a Contract Position - $18.00 per hour and working hours are 3pm to 7am.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people to patrol against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Conduct regular patrol by walking of premises to detect suspicious activities, safety hazards, and breaches.
• Respond and/or call regarding disturbances. Provide timely and accurate reports to management and law enforcement when necessary.
• Perform routine safety checks and inspections of the premises to ensure compliance with company's safety regulations and protocols.
• Assist and act swiftly and efficiently in the event of an emergency.
• Provide customer service and assistance and guidance to visitors and employees, ensuring a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Maintain detailed documentation and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and safety checks.
Ideal Candidate:
Required Qualifications
• Prior experience or related field is preferred
• Physically capable and confident, descreet and trustworthy - confidentiality is key.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, conduct patrols, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Experience in nightlife, hospitality, or similar environments preferred.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
Working Conditions
• This position requires working in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• This position involves working outdoors, in various weather conditions.
• This position requires standing, walking, for extended periods.
