Job Description

Job Summary: The Hotel Housekeeper at Staybridge Suites Omaha West will be responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting environment for our guests. This role requires attention to detail, time management skills, and a positive attitude. The Housekeeper will work as an individual contributor and report directly to the Housekeeping Manager. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time hourly position with weekends required and includes a competitive wage range of $15 to $17 per hour, paid biweekly. • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and amenities.
• Clean and sanitize common areas of the hotel, including hallways, lobby, and restrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Follow established safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for in-room amenities and services.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to guest privacy.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work a schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within the allotted time frame.
• Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
• Must pass a background check.
