Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Sewickley Hills

• Start Date: August 1st
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4 pm; about one week per month starting closer to 6:45 am; guaranteed 40 hours/week
• Hourly Rate: $23-27/hour
• Children: 3.5-year-old & 8.5-month-old
• Pets: Two small dogs
• Paid Vacation: One week family’s choice, one week nanny’s choice, 3 sick/personal days, all major holidays
• Up-To-Date Vaccinations Required

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Are you the kind of nanny who brings a little extra sunshine everywhere you go? The kind who sees an empty cardboard box and immediately thinks “rocket ship”? Then you might just be the perfect match for this warm, silly, and absolutely delightful family in Sewickley Hills. Meet your new dream team: a laid-back, joy-sprinkling mom (she’ll instantly feel like your favorite friend), a dad who works from home in his own separate office, always nearby but fully respecting your nanny zone, an endlessly sweet and active 3.5-year-old “captain of the giggle brigade,” a bouncy 8.5-month-old baby boy with a mega case of FOMO (fear of missing any fun), and two goofy Boston Terrier sisters always ready to supervise the action. Your days will center around a bright-eyed, cheerful 8.5-month-old who loves exploring sounds, bouncing around, and never wants to miss a moment. You’ll nurture his early development with books, songs, crafts, sensory activities, and lots of cozy snuggles. Big brother is in preschool most days but will need you for morning drop-offs, pick-ups, and for days when he’s home (sick days, holidays, or preschool breaks). When he’s home, you’ll become the ringleader of epic backyard adventures, messy painting masterpieces, cozy reading forts, and pretend firefighter rescues. These parents love outings and dream of a nanny who can plan playdates, rock story times, and find all the hidden gems around town. While child-related duties are your primary focus, they’d also love help with light household magic: family laundry, packing lunches, washing bottles, loading the dishwasher, and a bit of sweeping or vacuuming as needed. There is a peanut allergy, so they’re hoping for someone who can help manage this by staying mindful of ingredients and maintaining a safe environment. They’re on the lookout for someone nurturing, reliable, and gentle — a creative spirit who knows how to sprinkle fun and set loving boundaries when needed. A safe driver is essential, as you’ll use your own vehicle for school runs and errands. They’re playful, silly, and full of heart — and they can’t wait to find a new teammate to share their “rainbows of happiness” for the next 2-3 years.

Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
