We are offering a great opportunity for a full time Forensic Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary provider of NGRI and Forensic Services to consumers. Acting as case manager to Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) clients in the community. Ensures compliance with court order (conditional release plan) and fulfills mandatory reporting requirements for all NGRI clients. Services as hospital liaison for patients in the custody of DBHDS under a forensic status. Participates in demonstration model of conditional release for NGRI patients. Assists DBHD in treatment planning and discharge planning for patients under other forensic status. Provides restoration to competency services for clients ordered to outpatient restoration to competency, when needed. Services as representative for all matters related to forensic admissions, forensic assessments and related services.
Requirements
M1: Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Human Services, or related field.
M2: Must hold a valid clinical license (Virginia LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) or be license-eligible.
M3: Two (2) years of relevant emergency services experience in a community mental health setting.
M4: Certified Pre-admission Screening Clinician or be eligible for certification in Virginia.
M5: Valid Driver’s License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
Annual Salary Range
Grade C9 for Licensed Eligible. $60,863.00 - $68,471.00.
Grade C11 for Licensed. $69,356.00 - $80,916.00.
$5,000 Sign on Bonus - Restrictions Apply
5% increase for licensure
