Responsibilities

The Corporate Compliance Coordinator at Prime will participate and assist in compliance-related functions across all hospitals.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution, preferably in a healthcare-related field 
  2. Minimum of three years of experience as a hospital Compliance professional or within a Compliance Department or Legal Department performing compliance work
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  4. Knowledge of healthcare regulatory matters including billing and coding, privacy and security, credentialing, and hospital contracting
  5. Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and relevant state breach notification requirements
  6. An understanding of federal guidance from OIG, DOJ, and CMS on developing and maintaining effective compliance programs
  7. Knowledge of laws relating to Medicare, Medicaid, EMTALA, HIPAA, the Stark Law, the False Claims Act, and the Anti-kickback Statute
  8. Experience in conducting or responding to government audits and investigations, including working with CMS, OIG, MACs, ZPICs, DOJ, OCR, etc.
  9. Experience with working with an organization under a CIA

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Certification in Healthcare Compliance, Healthcare Compliance Fellowship, Healthcare Privacy Compliance, Research Compliance, or other relevant training is not mandatory, but preferred

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $68,640.00 to $95,825.60 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
