Brighton Center, Inc. is a private non-profit community-based organization with the mission to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment, and leadership. Purpose: To provide employment preparation skills, build relationships with employers, assist individuals with job and externship placement, follow up on employed individuals’ progress, and provide alumni support. Job Responsibilities: Provide trauma-informed, strength-based, and culturally competent services aligned with the organization’s mission and values. Develop and maintain an engaging, inclusive, and accessible Career Development curriculum, ensuring that up-to-date industry standards are articulated. Provide adequate, consistent, and regularly scheduled instruction to trainees in a variety of settings, including facilitated lectures/workshops, small group instruction, and individualized tutoring. Ensure trainees presenting with barriers (behavioral or resource-related) are reality counseled, with clear choices, resources, and support in setting goals. Provide one-one-one coaching to trainees navigating their job searches. Provide quarterly alumni follow-up services. Facilitate externship and job placement by building and maintaining relationships with employer partners. Complete timely and accurate documentation and data entry. Requirements: Must possess a strong commitment to Brighton Center's Core Values (these can be found in our profile and on our website). One year of customer service experience. One year of experience coaching/providing case management services in a human service or education field. Alternative applicable experience will be considered. Strong digital literacy skills, with the ability to navigate and use Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce database. Acceptable driving record and the ability to travel locally for work-related purposes.
