We have one of the largest business immigration practices in the United States; our immigration practice group consists of experienced and dedicated immigration lawyers and paralegals who work with domestic and international corporations and businesses in developing appropriate strategies to facilitate the international transfer of skilled employees.

Our Columbia, SC and Raleigh, NC offices have multiple opportunities for experienced Business Immigration Paralegals to join their fast-paced PERM teams! Under attorney supervision, the immigration paralegal is responsible for the preparation and filing of petitions and visa applications. The paralegal compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts correspondence, maintains and organizes client documentation, and communicates directly with multiple attorneys. This is a fully remote opportunity for US-based candidates. 

Requirements:

• Degree from accredited college or university and / or paralegal certification required. Minimum of 2 years of employment based immigration experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing the end-to-end PERM visa process in a law firm setting is required.
• Successful candidates will possess strong writing skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task, and work independently toward team goals.
• Outstanding organizational skills are required.
• Be able to multi-task and work independently toward team goals.
• Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.

Benefits:

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $60,800 and $91,200 . In accordance with New York State’s Wage Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this New York State position is between $55,360 and $100,560 . In accordance with California’s amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $57,040 and $100,560. In accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities act, the expected salary range for this Washington position is between $63,680 and $95,520. In accordance with the Wage Transparency Omnibus Amendment Act, the expected salary range for this DC position is between $63,680 and $95,520. In accordance with NJSA 34:6B-23, the expected salary range for this New Jersey position is between $67,040 and $100,560. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position qualifies for the benefits below.
