Company: Turbulence Creative

Location: London (Hybrid Work Model)

Position: Internship / Part-Time

Compensation: Paid

🗓️ Deadline to apply: August 29th, 2025

About Us: Building the Future with Visionary Creatives

Turbulence Creative is the first technology consultancy dedicated to supporting visionary creatives—artists, designers, and cultural institutions—through cutting-edge engineering and global collaborative R&D.

With roots in some of the world’s most advanced labs and industries—Tesla, Formula 1, MIT, Imperial College London, etc.—we bring deep technical expertise to bold, boundary-pushing projects, from concept to execution.

Our mission is to democratize access to advanced technology. We believe the tools once reserved for industry giants belong in the hands of cultural changemakers who are shaping how art is created, performed, and experienced.

If you believe storytelling, culture, and creative technology can reshape the future—this is your chance to be part of building it.

The Role: Crafting Voice, Culture & Communication

We’re looking for a thoughtful and aesthetically attuned individual to join our team as a Brand Communications & Editorial Associate. This is an early growth role for someone who’s excited by the idea of helping shape the identity of a creative-tech consultancy that operates at the intersection of art, design, and emerging technology.

You will work directly with the CEO, gaining hands-on experience in how brand voice, cultural positioning, and narrative strategy come together in a fast-moving, idea-driven company.

You will begin by contributing to our social media content—not just scheduling posts, but shaping stories, captions, and visuals with intent. From there, you’ll help co-develop internal narratives, newsletters, project spotlights, community updates, and more.

This role is ideal for someone who sees storytelling as a creative and strategic act, and who is ready to take responsibility for communicating our mission to the world.

Who We’re Looking For: A Voice with Taste & Curiosity

We’re open to two kinds of profiles:

  • An experienced associate-level talent ready to own a brand’s tone and help elevate our communication strategy
  • Or, an ambitious early-career creative with strong writing skills, cultural literacy, and a desire to grow fast

You may be a fit if you:

  • See language and storytelling as design tools
  • Have a deep appreciation for contemporary art, culture, and emerging tech
  • Understand how to speak across multiple channels with both consistency and creativity
  • Are curious about how a brand is built from the inside—and excited to help shape one

Requirements

Essential Experience & Qualities:

  • A background in Art, Design, Art History, Media, or related fields
  • Work experience in a cultural institution (gallery, museum) or editorial/press/media outlet, ideally in a social media, marketing, or communications role
  • Native or professional fluency in English with excellent writing/editing skills
  • Strong visual sensibility and taste—can discern what aligns with our brand
  • Based in London and available for a hybrid working model

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Canva or other design tools
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
  • Interest in cross-disciplinary collaboration (e.g. working with engineers, curators, artist, designers)

What We Offer: A Creative & Strategic Launchpad

  • Paid Position: We respect your craft and your time
  • Direct Mentorship & Visibility: Work closely with the CEO and attend relevant industry events
  • Hands-on Access to the Scene: Get immersed in the fast-evolving worlds of art, design, fashion, and creative technology in London and globally
  • Real Growth Potential: For the right candidate, this role grows into a Marketing Lead position, with expanded influence and responsibility
  • A Creative Legacy: Your words, visuals, and decisions will help define how Turbulence Creative speaks to the world

How to Apply

📧 Please send your CV + short informal cover letter to hello@turbulence-creative.com

Let us know why this role resonates with you—and where you see your creative voice growing with us.

🗓️ Applications are due by August 29th, 2025

We encourage early applications, as reviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.

Let’s build something bold together.
