Purpose of the Job : The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and compliance with California labor and safety regulations. This role balances hands-on leadership with administrative responsibilities, including staff development, scheduling, financial oversight, and vendor coordination. The AGM serves as a key leader in maintaining a positive workplace culture, upholding company standards, and driving the restaurant’s overall success.
ABOUT YOU You’re a seasoned hospitality professional with at least 5 years of restaurant management experience and 2+ years as an Assistant General Manager or senior supervisory role . You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, balancing big-picture strategy with hands-on leadership. You’re motivated by creating exceptional guest experiences while keeping operations efficient, compliant, and financially strong. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing all aspects of restaurant operations—from scheduling and labor management to compliance, budgeting, and vendor relations. As a leader, you know how to motivate and develop a team, fostering professionalism, collaboration, and accountability at every level. Most importantly, you’re excited to play a key leadership role in helping shape a unique, upscale experience that’s expanding into multiple locations, while growing your own career alongside the company’s ambitious vision.
