POSITION SUMMARY 

Nurp is seeking an AI-focused Content & SEO Optimization Specialist to lead our visibility strategy across both traditional search engines and next-gen AI-powered platforms like  ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Grok .

This is not a traditional SEO role. We’re looking for a  hybrid thinker —someone who understands search engines  and AI engines, and knows how to structure, prompt, and position content to show up where today’s users are searching for answers: in generative AI environments.

You’ll be responsible for developing intelligent content strategies that combine  classic SEO principles with  cutting-edge AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)techniques—attracting, engaging, and converting high-intent audiences across both Google and AI-native platforms.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Lead content structuring and visibility strategies across  Google and  AI-native search platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.).
  • Apply  AEO and NLP techniques to craft content optimized for generative AI results.
  • Conduct keyword + prompt research to identify dual-ranking opportunities across search and AI engines.
  • Plan, produce, and optimize high-performance content—blogs, landing pages, AI-ready longform, and whitepapers.
  • Collaborate with product, compliance, and content teams to ensure accurate, compelling, and regulatory-aligned messaging.
  • Analyze AI visibility, prompt-trigger performance, and SERP positioning to guide strategy iteration.
  • Align organic strategy with broader marketing efforts, including paid campaigns and nurture flows.
  • Build and maintain authority through technical SEO, link-building, and AI-referenced citations.
  • Continuously test, learn, and adapt based on emerging AI behaviors, platform shifts, and content algorithms.

KEY COMPETENCIES 

  • Proven ability to  optimize content for AI search visibility and answer engines.
  • Deep understanding of  NLP, prompt engineering, and AI-based search dynamics .
  • Fluency with both  technical SEO and modern content strategy principles.
  • Experience with tools like  Surfer SEO, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console , and AI content visibility dashboards.
  • Analytical mindset; strong with data interpretation and iterative improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and translate technical insights into clear actions.
  • Highly adaptable to evolving trends in  AI, search, and user discovery behavior .

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field. (Preferred)

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO and content marketing experience, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or tech.

  • 2+ years of experience optimising content for AI platforms, including NLP and AI prompt structuring. (required)

  • Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, and generative AI tools. (required)

  • Relevant certifications such as HubSpot Content Marketing, Google SEO/Analytics, or NLP/AI SEO are a plus.
